I was reading this morning an article about the championship basketball game last night.  If you didn't catch it, last night with 4.7 seconds left to play, the game was tied and Villanova was to take the ball out of bounds.  "Villanova coach Jay Wright called timeout.  But he barely had to say anything.  Nearly everyone on the Wildcats' bench already know what play they were going to run: Nova....It's meant to be used in tight, end-of-game situations, which is why Villanova practices it almost every day, including as recently as Friday." (Emphasis mine).

In my business, that's Disaster Recovery planning.  What plans have you put in place for events that could cripple your business.  It can be something as small as a power outage that shuts down your computers and you grab pencil and paper to keep your customers happy or as large as a natural disaster and you have no building left.  Taking a lesson from Jay Wright, they had a plan and they rehearsed it.  Disaster Recovery plans aren't something that just happens, they take planning and rehearsing.  What's yours?
